Please make sure you have a U3 type microSD card , minimum capacity of 64GB, maximum of 256GB.
Make sure you format it as exFat.
How to format an SD card on Windows:
- Insert the SD card into your computer, usually an adapter is needed (USB adapter is very user friendly to use).
- Open Windows Explorer and find the SD card.
- Right click the SD card and choose "Format..." from the menu to open the Format Dialogue window.
- Under "File system" choose "exFat".
- Make sure "Quick format" check box is on.
- Click "Format" to finish the process, when done a message indicating the process is complete will appear.
- Exit the format window.
How to format an SD card on Mac OS X:
- Insert the SD card into your computer, usually an adapter is needed (USB adapter is very user friendly to use).
- Open the "Disk Utility" from the "Utilities" folder in your "Applications" and select the SD card from the list of drives in the left frame.
- Erase the SD card data by selecting the "Erase" tab in the main window after selecting your SD card.
- Select exFat from the "Volume Format" drop-down menu and enter a name for the SD card in the "Name" field.
- Click "Eraseā¦" when you are ready to format. "Disk Utility" will ask you to confirm.
- Close the window when done.
